Hi all,

I guess I should think of a better subject heading than the above but right now, I can't think of one....

Anyways:

A long time ago, UK BOINC Team was formed and our position was clear from the start - support all the BOINC projects and help the projects get results.

Since then, what has happened?

SETI Synergy team became BOINC Synergy

Lookers (once upon a time a SETI only team) adopted BOINC.UK as a "brand name"


Since these two, even our team has had a member leave (boo, hiss) and then we found out he had set up a team called "UK Boincers".

Fair enough.

Now, I see that "Scotland's SETI" has now renamed themselves to:

"The Scottish Boinc Team".


Now I admit that our Team name can easily be copied as there are only three words and it's a pretty simple task to make them fit together so as to make some sense.....

But I'm flattered all the same that yet another team has decided to change their name so that they support as many BOINC projects as they can.


Long live BOINC.
