Re: Treble
Congratulations!
I noticed your running iThena Measurements. You know that's an NCI project and you can run multiple clients like you did with Goofy. I sent info to Timbo on how to set it up but apparently he hasn't had time to test it out. Message me if you want my Cliff Notes on the setup. This is on Windows and you need good internet with no data cap.

Re: Treble
Thanks, just running a laptop at the moment and in rural area with no option for fibre broadband, the guaranteed speed is a whole 3mbs, just about enough to use a streaming service on one device at a time

I'm also in a very rural area where the only internet options are satellite. Took almost 2 years but I finally got Starlink. I currently have two laptops running 200 instances of iThena each.UBT-mark3346 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 8:18 pm Thanks, just running a laptop at the moment and in rural area with no option for fibre broadband, the guaranteed speed is a whole 3mbs, just about enough to use a streaming service on one device at a time
Re: Treble
That's how I got most of my Ithena credits once I realised.
Five hosts running 200 instances each, quickly builds up the credits

Hi Carl,ChelseaOilman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 7:01 pm I sent info to Timbo on how to set it up but apparently he hasn't had time to test it out.
So, I just got to my "target" on Private GFN of reaching 5 million credits.
And I wanted to get one of my hosts onto ithena.measurements.
So, I followed your instructions and sure enough I have 100 folders under c:/multiboinc/BOINC and in Task Manager I can see 100 instances of BOINC.exe are running...
But I have a question: On my account on the ithena.measurements project website, none of these downloaded tasks are listed as "current" and since yesterday afternoon, when I started these tasks, none appear to have been uploaded and/or credited.
Do the tasks take ages to complete and is the project website slow to update?
regards
Tim
