Hi all,
I've been trying to run a few CPU WU's, in order to improve my stats on each project up to a certain level - for some I try to get to a million credits, others, maybe 100,000 is more appropriate.
I'd not run many Cosmology WU's on my 3.2GHz P4 for a while and eventually, I've had one validated.
This was the result:
CPU time: 53,609.81 seconds
Claimed credit: 127.61
Granted credit: 420.00
So, that's nearly 15 hours for 420 credits - although I think it actually took a lot longer, as it's been in my "Tasks" window for about 3 days.....am I being a bit unrealistic using this CPU for this project?
(I still have 4 more WU's to do so, is it worth it ?)
regards
Tim

Going for badges is always cool, Tim - that's what I'm doing right now, but if it takes so long for so little credit, I wouldn't bother for now - the credit race is heating up (TSBT have a RAC of 300 million more than us and are only 5 billion credits behind us!!), but ultimately it is up to you - hope this helped

'UBT - Chris' is my old name - I now crunch as 'CaffeinatedSloth' but I'm still 100% UBT
