Just noticed this on BOINCStats.
http://boincstats.com/index.php?pr=collatz
Doesn't appear to be a BOINC project, which is unusual for BOINCStats.
Haven't found anything relevant referring to 'collatz' and distributed computing yet but have found this which may be what it's referring to.
Are we going to do anything about it?

There's no 'team' system in place at the moment, but that's probably because it's not yet a proper BOINC project.
HERE'S the faq section. I think I'll wait until they make it a little easier to run, ie through the BOINC Manager!

The new client application 1.02 is ready. It includes some optimizations and a minor bugfix. Application 1.0 is still compatible, but will be much slower on new work units. Please upgrade.

The above is from the FAQ section contained in your original link, Mikee! What software do I need to join?
You don't need anything special really. The main program is a small EXE program that can run on any Windows platform. So you need a PC. Sorry, there is no version for MacIntosh or Unix systems.

Now I'm confused!

I think there's 2 versions. Windows one which doesn't use the BOINC client (so no 'BOINC credits) and the Linux one which does (but I'm quite prepared to be corrected!)melter65 wrote:The above is from the FAQ section contained in your original link, Mikee! What software do I need to join?
