Hi,

I too use MWPro and highly recommend it...

I also recommend you get BL Scan (from http://www.dogsbyte.com) which allows you to administer your blacklist.

As to "bouncing" spam....this is NOT a good idea...

Why?

Firstly, if you are bouncing it, then you are telling the originator of teh spam that your email addy is real, assuming they didn't "munge" the reply to addy..

Secondly, most types of spam, the spammer doesn't use their own email, they use someone elses....so you are creating more spam traffic by returning the email to someone who didn't send it...

So, whats the best solution?
a) Don't bounce it...just delete it
b) If you are a member of SpamCop, then use the MWPro feature to advise SpamCop.
c) Use MWPro to "learn" the types of spam you receive and then allow it to auto-delete.
d) Ask your ISP to switch on the "SPF" function on your email server, as this will reduce the amount of spam you receive...

regards

Tim
