Can someone point me in the right direction Please

Having problems installing that new stick of memory? Found some great software or having issues with something? Or maybe want to chat about your PlayStation, X-Box, Nintendo, Sega, even your old Spectrum 48k....! Or maybe something you want to sell or acquire (computing related of course!). Let us know here...

Haven't lost any drivers lately so I don't know if it's still any good.

Hope you managed to sort out your driver problem but just in case you didn't know, all Vaio's either come with a recovery disk or a hidden partition on the drive and instructions on how to create a recovery disk from this partition.

As you said, the disk would not have helped you this time but you really should take the time to create the recovery disk for future mishaps and I also copied all driver files from it onto my backup drive so that should I just need a driver to get me going I can transfer it too any media or just copy it over via the network and then update it later.

If you bought your Vaio in the last few years new, then check your user manual for details on making your disk, before it's too late.
