Unfortunately Tim is away on business tonight when we reach the 30 million mark but he knew he would be missing for several important “events” including hitting the 30 million total overall credit.
He wished me to pass on to you the following message
“I’m proud of the guys who've dedicated their resources to the various projects, (including both the "big guns" as well as the little ones!!) as well as the "spirit" of everyone clubbing together for the "greater good".
I think this sort of attitude is "inspirational" and I sincerely hope that this good "vibe" continues to vibrate through the Team and that it is obvious to the "outsiders" who are looking in - whether they are competitors or not.
My belief is that we can all have a bit of fun, while our poor old "work-horse" PC's are doing all the work...!”
Regards
Tim
So congratulations to us all :blob2: :blob3: :blob4: :blob6: :blob7: :blob8:

Wow! That's impressive. I hadn't realised that the team had ramped up their output by that magnitude. Well done all!Temujin wrote:On 03-Apr-06 we I posted in the calendar that we had passed 15 million credits.
We've doubled our total credits in a shade over 5 months, impressive stuff :thumbup:

Hi Gregory,
In the early days, I used to keep track of the dates when we achieved specific milestones, such as every time we hit a "target" number, such as 100,000 credits (and then 250,000 and then 1 Million, etc).
You can still see it here:
http://www.ukboincteam.org.uk/stats/ubt-stats.html
although it hasn't been updated for 7 months, simply because there are far more projects available now and keeping it "correct" took an ever-increasing amount of time (it was done manually !!).
The page was initially created to give confidence to people that our Team WAS growing and it was worthwhile to join....!
But since then, with the rapid expansion of both team membership as well as the number of projects available, our "momentum" is now pretty much self-sustaining and hence we seem to automatically attract members without needing to brag too much......!
But we have had some pretty "massive" growth since Jan 2006....

Long may it continue....!
regards
Tim
