The vote is on
Re: UK's unsung landmarks: The vote
I've voted, went for
Jodrell Bank Telescope - is a great place to visit, wifey took me there a good few years ago for a birthday treat. If your into that sort of thing, its well worth a visit.
Fort Dunlop, W Mids - a bit of a wreck these days and its even covered with a huge advert at the moment but an imposing structure.
Cardington airship hangars - always had a soft spot for these monsters after getting interested in airships as a lad.
Humber Bridge - well, its a big bridge :D

Cardington was on the telly last night - one of the channels was showing "Zeppelin" - and they showed Michael York arriving at "Frederikshavn" in Germany to see a German Zeppelin - but it WAS Cardington....!Temujin wrote:I've voted, went for

Hope they don't mess one of them up - there are plans to turn into a industrial estae or something like, as one of the hangars needs restoring badly, and the locals don't want it turned into a "eyesore"....!
