The last bit is interesting. I wonder who in the UK has helped to find the second new pulsar. Be great if it was one of our team :D Wonder if they notify you if you are the discoverer...

Edit:- Having read a little more on the linked pages, the persons making the discovery are duly named and credited with the same. Good luck to them, hope they, and us, go on to make more discoveries in the future.
