Problems "Application Hello BOINC,world"

Hi every body.
I'm intersting at BOINC.
I try to understand how work's.
I spend a lot of time educate the Application Hello BOINC,world but i have problems.
I installed the virtuel machine which contain the server.
I configured this virtuel machine.
I compiled the application with MVSC++
I do every think ..
I related the client with the server  and every think it's ok
the client download the application, execute the worksunit and upload to the server but when i look "~/projects/hello/upload" i didn't find "Hello Boinc,World", i find many letters like "ff" "dfe" ......
I need help!!!!!!

Hi Zizou, and welcome to the team.
Have you managed to download "BOINC Manager"?
The latest download is v6.6.36

If you have succeded, you will be able to download all BOINC projects.

If you can give us as much information as possible, we will try help you.

I think i have the latest version BOINC Manager
But my problem it's not the boinc Manager
boinc manager work perfectly  
My problem it's with the server as i said the client download, execute, upload perfectly that's why my credit is augmented.
But in the server side i never find Hello BOINC World in this folder "~/projects/hello/upload"

This is about the simple application Hello Boinc World
I educated this application.
I would like understand how can i develop my own project at BOINC.thats all.
this application works only in my computer whit virtual server.

from what I can make out, Hello World is an application written by the guy that wrote Einstein@Home and Pirates@Home. It was his first attempt at writing a project.
So, its a test project, like compiling the uppercase application which a lot of projects start with.

Zizou, I don't think anyone here has any experience with what you're trying to do
but.. I would've thought the application would write its output into one of the ~/slots directories, try looking in there rather than the /~projects directory

yes that's it.
i try to write my own project
to do this i must understand erery think about BOINC.
The first step is to read documentation.
The next step is try to understand the test application Hello BOINC world
Final step write and made my project.

if you have installed the VM in your PC
you will be able to add application
try to read and understand the officiel documentation BOINC.

i read the documentation and i installed the client on windows. i choose the UPPERCASE application to test the grid, but the sever sends : no work sent.
uppercase is not available for your type of computer.for that i am trying to find another applicatin for testing.

breafly, i m creating my own project which is: cracking DES algorithm using BOINC grid, but the grid until now not working with me. so before i learn writing application on boinc, i have to ensure that it is working.
and that,s it.
i make a good step until now,but i have some problems and i don't know the reasons.
so if you have time to talk about that, let me know and i will be so greatful to you.

sorry for this long time.
I have the honnor to took with you.
I wrote my own application but i have some problems
In my application i have 2 inputs (bib.bmp, texte.bmp) and 1 output (resultat.txt)
the client dowload the executable, texte.bmp and (bib.bmp__23444334)
this bib.bmp__23444334 generate an error with executable.
