OK, so here's a bit of a puzzler...
I was coming home from Belfast the other day, checked-in at the airport and went through the usual security into the large departure lounge. I looked at the screen to check on the departure status and saw various flights listed as 'Boarding' 'Go to Gate xyz' etc. I found my flight listed amongst a few others which said:
Manchester 18.55 Relax and Shop
So, how does that work then? Aren't the two mutally exclusive?
Chris.
Relax and what???

Maybe they are trying to brainwash you by way of "word association"....hence the things you KNOW to be important (destination and departure time) are linked to other things, such as "relax" and "shop"....which are irrelevant to the actual flight...
So it sounds like a little bit of mind-games, to ensure you spend some money in the bar and in the shops before you leave the area...
