Hi all,
OK, so the winning votes in the recent poll to "Think of a new career for Steve McClaren..." has been made....
and sure enough the FA have listened..... wasn't that nice of them...!
Now we need a new man to lead England....
Who do YOU think it should be...?
Enter your view and let's see if we can do the FA's job for them again...!
EDIT: If you see a * before the name (on the poll), then the person concerned has formally said that they are NOT interested in the job....we'll see if that turns out to be true...!
Current betting (BBC link) here

But....is he playing hard to get.....???melter65 wrote:Damn!! :(
And who was being "interviewed" - his agent ?? or The Special One himself ??
Either way, I can understand if he wants to get back into league management...it's understandable.
But he could always do both England and somewhere else...who needs a new manager right now......ok, let's say.....Birmingham !!!!

After leaving The mighty blues Jose did say he didn't wanna manage in England for a while and according to his agent he hasn't been approached.
He did say he wanted to go back abroad, mmm .
I don't think it would make any difference anyway as it's alot to do with the players them selfs.
Personally I think big Sam would make a brill England manager but he like O'Neil have ruled them selfs out as has Mark Hughs.
The best bet would be Jose but I can't see it, may well be cappello.
