I have just spotted a strange turn of events, I seem to have lost 2 Primes?
See this thread
By the way, quite extrange that from 0M to 1025M we got like 78 BIG primes... but none -yet -from 1025 to 1200... something could be wrong out there??
Actually, a total of 116 primes have been found as of 13:00 UTC 2007-02-26.
It's better to look at the Top LLR Prime Finders page for a total amount. It's reported here as soon as a prime is found and verified. And since all primes are double checked, divide that number by 2. There's 232 primes listed which means 116 individual primes found.
The LLR Search Status page only lists the primes that have been reported to the Largest Known Primes Database. They are hidden until the prime finder reports their find to the database.
An email is generated once a host finds a prime. The user of that host has 14 days to report the prime. However, I think that's flexible right now as Rytis sorts out the emailing. See the News item "2007-02-24 14:07:04 UTC Reporting world record prime numbers" on the home page.

I take it you have received an email for each of the Primes you found and replied to it as they asked?
If not, maybe they have "removed" the specific Primes from your list?
regards
Tim
I have no idea what is going on over there, not seen any emails, one min I have 6 Prime finds, then its 4, I post a message on PG forum asking whats going on and the end up with 5?
This PrimGrid thingy is one weird project, first it messes with my CPID then 2 days after I stopped crunching it it tells me I found another Prime.
I'm gonna take up drinking then at least I'd know why I keep seeing pink Elephants
Gary, don't know about the pink elephants but I have to agree with your project summary of weird.
I seem to have gone back to 6 Primes, another email saying I have to register a Prime number, which I have done, so now all I gotta do is wait for them to chop me back to 1 or 2 Primes?
I thought it might be worth posting this here for the benefit of future Prime finders. Registering your first prime although convoluted is manageable, I found on trying to register my second it became a little more confusing so E-mailed the editor of the Prime pages and received the following reply.
I suspect you'll never need to create another proof code.
The code should change only if you changed how you find and
prove primality. If you are still using the same program in
the same project, save yourself (and me) a lot of work by
just clicking on your page and click on "add primes" using
your old code.
I can see recently many BOINC folks are confused. Please
spread the word to your team and I'll try to add some words
to some page to make this clearer.

I hope this saves others some time and head scratching for now and hopefully they will make the instructions a little clearer in the near future.
Ajh, if and when you read this Chris at the prime site should sort out your 2 proof codes into 1, so if you are lucky enough to find others just use the same code for all.
