In what seems like years but is probably only months, Mindmodelling has got new work!

Given that my CPUs on this weekends' Einstein Sprint are not earning many credits, I've grabbed some MM tasks with the hope that maybe we can rise in the Marathon table with some extra credits on MM...

The Top 10 on the MM side of things is as follows:

So, UBT is a mere 50k behind 5th place and not that far off (ok - so 200k) 3rd place. So, if enough MM tasks are available in a short space of time, we could sneak into 5th place, even 4th place !!

Hang on, there's something amiss here.

Yesterday we (ie the individual UBT members) scored over 100K on Mindmodeling but Boincstats and FreeDC both report us as scoring 0. Even Worse, the Mindmodeling site has us scoring 0 which is what feeds in to FB. All the other teams are scoring OK but we are get sweet bugger all!

And according to my records, figures for Gridcoin and L'Alliance look suspiciously low (although I haven't checked individual crunchers for them)

I've added our 'complaint'

I guess it's part of the server crash that they had at the weekend?

Well it makes me feel a little bit better if it is not only us. I just hope that when they sort it all out we do eventually get our credits. I know we are getting them individually but the team is sufferring badly.

I imagine there's some fault in the summing up scripts and a couple of projects are missing out.

Should be updated correctly eventually as the individual scores are correct.

They seem to have run out of work again. I've nearly finished my cache. We'll have to wait and see whether the team ever gets credited with the points though.

John's site is also showing wrong totals for the team. The top row is zero at the moment.

I was rather hoping yesterday when the work dried up briefly it was so that the admins could or had set things right. Apparently not.

I believe that the ubtstats website "scrapes" the data from the team pages and hence if the MM website isn't updating correctly, so ubtstats won't be updated correctly either.

I'm sure that, in time, they'll sort out whatever the bug is...but maybe they have other fish to fry right now, after the recent outage.

Brandon knows about the issue. Apparently it's a problem with the teams database caused by the crash and it will be fixed in time. At least three teams affected, TAAT, UBT and Boincstats.
