Anything "BOINC" specific can be commented on here...such as Project news and announcements etc. Also: any problems with BOINC or maybe you have found something interesting, tell us about it. Chat about the various 3rd party client applications used for some of the projects such as optimised clients.
Having added @seti again ( i remembered they had a cool screensaver whilst crunching) i set my screensaver on to Boinc but don't see the lovely seti screensaver appear.. is it broken? do i need to set a setting somewhere for it to work properly?
Assuming you are using WIndows, then it might be that the screensaver only comes on after an extended period of time - maybe 10 or 20 mins after "inactivity".
So, check your Display > Screensaver properties and see what the settings are?
Literally after posting this (having had Seti running for a couple of days with no screensaver showing) when the screensaver kicked in after i walked away from the pc Seti worked !! sppooky..
