Shame about that but BOINC is supposed to be spare cycles anyway.

Good luck with getting an ASIC but even without one, every credit counts.

That's a shame...but you gotta do, what you gotta do.

The thing about ASIC's is that they can earn far more credits than a CPU can....so, in a credit race, an ASIC is the way to go.

On the other hand, BOINC is about using your spare CPU cycles to help many and various projects...and in fact while my ASIC'S are hard at work on BU, the CPU's and GPU's are doing work on other BOINC projects.

So, when you can do some crunching and you have got an ASIC you can do double the workload, with the ASIC on BU and your CPU on something less intensive, such as Convector, WUProp etc.
