Elite ratings

I`m a bit perplexed about the elite ratings that every member is assigned to. I used to be "harmless", but I have now been downgraded to "mostly harmless", which implies that I have caused some trouble. If I have, I certainly don`t recall it! I guess I`ll be "trouble maker" after this. :(

Don't be confused here is the ratings direct from the game
The current system for ranking pilots is as follows:
Harmless - 0-7 kills
Mostly Harmless - 8-15 kills
Poor - 16-31 kills
Average - 32-63 kills
Above Average - 64-127 kills
Competent - 128-511 kills
Dangerous - 512-2559 kills
Deadly - 2560 - 6399 kills
Elite - 6400+ kills

How do the number of posts relate to ranks? It can't be the same as the number of kills in the original game, or Rick would be "poor" by now!

The numbers are made up by Tim, I'm sure that will remain a mystery from us all so that no one will know when there ranking is due to increase

I would hazzard a guess at the following
1-15 Harlmless
16-50 Mostly Harmless
51-100 Poor
101-150 Average
151-200 Above Average
201-?? Competent
after that we run out of users that have posted that many messages, so it could be anything

How about the following:
0- Waste of space
1-20 Poor
21-50 Fair
51-100 Average
101-250 Good
251-500 Excellent
501 plus- Get a life!
