Hi all,

Seems there's an issue with the latest version of Mcafee security software, released on 1st August 2006, which causes BOINC v5.4.9 to fail.

BOINC has released a new version, v5.4.11, which resolves this, although it seems to be a problem with the Mcafee software, rather than a BOINC problem...!

If you don't have Mcafee security software don't bother upgrading to this one at all 5.4.12 is coming out very soon to fix errors with SETI & SETI BETA having a sulk at each other
