Another new project?: Sunet

Anything "BOINC" specific can be commented on here...such as Project news and announcements etc. Also: any problems with BOINC or maybe you have found something interesting, tell us about it. Chat about the various 3rd party client applications used for some of the projects such as optimised clients.

Hi all

I just got news about this new "project":

though it does actually seem to be like a "front end BOINC client" that supports specific other projects such as Rosetta or WCG, or Asteroids.

So, maybe not something that our team might want to be involved with...though there is mention of "special rewards" which might include some crypto-currencies... ;-)

... you can only select science areas rather than specific projects and SUNET will assign your computer to appropriate projects.
Sounds just like DAs new endeavour, "sign up and we'll use your computing power how we like"
