We crunch on all projects just so happens some of them don't have as many people on them at the moment
Feel free to join our team its onwards & upwards business as usual plus you would be helping to make SIMAP more popular my generating much needed credits there
Edit we have 37 active crunchers there at the moment but that will probally rise again soon as the Mega Mini Summer Crunch we have just run for the last 2 weeks will have taken resources away from other projects.
If you do join you will be adding to a great team
Here is a graph of what we are producing at the moment

Hi David.
Welcome to the forum. :D
As you see I am an active cruncher on Simap but
like most I had moved over to do the mini crunch.
And maybe if you join us, as UBT - Halifax--lad says it may promote
some more interest in Simap and stop me from getting
to first position, dah.
Hope to see you on the stats
Regard
Jimmy
Edit :Sorry Dave, I'm getting on you know.

We do have big goals but thats the best thing to have so that people joining us know what to expect. We are all nice and friendly here and your computers will be a welcome addition to SIMAP (PS We did have a SIMAP crunch a while back so it will no doubt come around to another one sometime in the future)

Hi David,
Yup - the whole point of UK BOINC Team is just to be one massive Team, supporting everything to do with BOINC and then allowing each individual to crunch to their hearts content for the specific projects that suits them best.
We don't have any over-riding "directive" with regards to which project is "best" for your crunching power and as such, everyone has free choice in what they do.
But as a contributor to the Team you
know that the credits you generate are helping to increase the popularity of the Team and hence draw more people in.
Which then makes your efforts for the various projects even more worthwhile, as the "Team effort per project" will help the projects to generate the results they need to further their research.
So, joining us is a
Win, Win, Win scenario:
- you win, coz you're part of a big team,
- the team wins, coz it's gains more members and
- (most importantly), the projects win, as their research can be done more quickly.
can't say fairer :D
regards,
Tim
And pls ask your fellow members:
Fallenangel
Arnolnator
Big Dai
to join the forum - they are welcome as well y'know !)

SiMap was one of the first Projects I started crunching, I only stop crunching for most of my projects to concentrate on team crunches when they appear.
We need more members on SiMap so I hope you join us and help the team get to the top.

I think we should aim to be Number 1 in the UK at least, we are producing nearly twice as many credits as BOINC@Hull
