GPU prices hitting alien search

Hi all
A nice BBC report about Dan Werthimer and the problem that SETI are having, buying GPUs in order to support their search for ET:

So, maybe we should all do Bitcoin mining and just give SETI a share of the money earned (obv, as we have to be able to pay for our leccy bills !!) and they can do the crunching to search for aliens
