Well spotted

Now, if we can help to get YOU going with an ASIC, then you too can help get us into maybe 8th...or even 7th !!

Team China is just about 8 billion ahead of us, and TSBT are about 5 billion.

So, with a bit of luck (and a lot of crunching), we can maybe catch up with them in the next few weeks.

It's going to take a BIG effort though to catch up with the 6th placed team, BOINC@Taiwan, who are nearly 50 billion ahead...but at last in all three cases, we are out-scoring them daily, so we will close on them one day !!

Now, how soon do you want a U2 ASIC to get you started??

We just overtook China to get to 8th in the World!

Next up is TSBT, to 7th, then drop down to 8th again as Black Ops overtake in a couple of weeks but should regain 7th as we overtake BOINC@Taiwan!

An interesting few weeks coming up then!

Hi Mike,

It's going to take a while to overtake BOINC@Taiwan - they are 30 billion ahead of us, although we are out-crunching them at a rate of around 1.5 billion per day.....so, in around 20 days we might be pretty close.

Sadly, I think BlackOps would have passed us before we overtake B@T

But overall 7th place is fine and dandy with me

According to Boincstats prediction buttons, year end puts us in 7th place by total credit and 3rd by RAC

So next year should see even more improvements

Hi Mark,

I think for 2015, we need to try and consolidate our world position -= however, I'm also mindful of the leccy costs of keeping ASIC's crunching away 24/7.

So, there's no "pressure" on anyone to carry on as they are....and in fact I'd much rather prefer we get others involved, in order to share the cost amongst a greater number of team members.

The issue will be of course TSBT and when they want to take over the #1 UK spot....as I can see that it might "see-saw" between them and us for a while.

Well, We Are 8th Now, and will be 7th in the world and 1st in UK by the end of today - guarenteed!!!

P.S. Tim - I'll help to carry the team to victory! Also, I will get an ASIC asa - after the iPad.

We are now back to 7th place in the world rankings having just passed BOINC@Taiwan.

3DNow are the next team above us but I think Musketeers will the be next to fall. With no changes, we should eventually catch 3DNow but Overclock.net are catching us!!

Alright, it took 7 days ... but I blame BUs validation problems and some people going walkabout
