Could be the dumb question of the month ....  but ....  I've got four PM's in the Outbox, others that I let loose before are in the Sent Box.

In other software, Outbox means "ready to go but not sent", is that the same with this PM Box?  If it is, I've got four stuck ones that I'll need  to resend.

In your outbox section, look at the "flag" on the left hand side.
If the message has an "open folder" icon, the receiver has not yet picked up your message. If the icon is a "closed folder", you can safely delete the PM.
