Hi Everyone.
I've been running SETI for about 2 weeks now and thought it a good idea to join a team so here's a new recruit to the team.

Hi Thomo and welcome to UBT
Nice to have another 64bit Linux user and even better to see you're already using an optimised seti application.
You ought to upgrade it to the lastest & greatest version (
available here) you'll be amazed at the improvement

No probs. My PC needed a "spring clean" so I've now set it up as a dual boot WinXP 64 and Linux.
Nice new Seti app though, a workunit that took about 2H 15M using crunch3r's 64bit Linux app now takes 15 mins less
