Save Jodrell Bank radio observatory

The government are considering closing the Jodrell Bank radio observatory in Cheshire.

I saw something about this on the 'Sky At Night' the other day, so thanks for finding the petition Rick, I hope more people will sign it. :)

As well as signing the petition, its also worth considering a visit to Jodrell Bank.

I noticed that this petition doesn't finish until next year when it may be a bit late. However, there's also one which finishes this year along the same lines.

Have used both links, and signed both of them. used to pass Jodrel bank when driving trains crewe to manchester airport. Wonderful place, must keep it

Both petitions signed. We passed
Jodrell Bank on the way to Chester Zoo a few years ago and said we must visit. Sadly we never did, but this has rekindled my interest and a Summer visit is on the cards!
