Got the following error when browsing just now. It went away with a refresh but recording it fyi.

Sometimes boards happen to do that, it may just have been doing a backup or something like that

Nope, no backup at that time!
I think it's more likelt the pesky googlebots again.
200 cawling over it the other day in a 15 minute period.

So far this week (Monday-Thursday) we have had 7000 googlebot hits!

That is putting quite a strain on things. I think we are getting a bit too popular!

I just got a max connections error!
There are currently over 900 googlebots on the site!

go googlebots  :!:  Bring on the Microsoft bots and everyone else

At least they do a good job of keeping the search engines up to date, and it only happens once in a blue moon when you can't get to the site, just hit refresh and your generally back in

Hmmm, I think 900 is taking the michael.
