This is the one where they film it twice - first "real" showing the real audience and their amazement and wonder at him lifting his heels by about 2 inches....and you can't see him going onto his toes (well the toes of one foot) thereby lifting his heels and seeming to levitate...
Then they cut to the scene from behind the "girl" (except she's a plant), using a "lifting mechanism" above DB - you can spot that they got the clothing NEARLY right - spot the creases and the white top being smooth down the RHS of the "real" girl (showing her face), but strangely, the white top bulges outwards a little on the "plant" (and you can't see her face...only her similar clothing....). Then they cut back again...! And so forth.
Sorry to dispel the myth, but NO ONE can levitate for real...!
So called "magic" is purely an entertainment...once you know how they do it (and some tricks are really quite impressive and very expensive to do), then the fun comes with figuring it out...a bit like Jonathan Creek....!
