Not 1st in UK anymore?

Hi all,
According to BOINCstats, OcUK are now back to being a UK-ranked team, rather than being "International".
as per
here
Which means we're back to being #2 in UK - They obviously didn't take kindly to our "100 million credits" press release.
We're approx 50 million credits behind them and currently out-RAC them by approx 70,000 per day....

So, if things stay the same, we'll pass them in approx 2 years time...!

No worries....
1st one is already up and running....and surprisingly quick...given it's got a slower clock speed (2.4GHz) than my P4 @ 3GHz....
Nothing like some new technology......
Now, just need to save a few more pounds and think about getting a second...probably sometime early November.

Perhaps when they pass the big one while a UK team they can be congratulated as well (all credit gained while "international" will of course have to be disregarded
)

2 years is a bit pessimistic! I've been doing some calculations...
At current rate we'll be passing them around February 2009 - 15 months or so. However, we've been gaining new members (by fair means or foul!) at an increasing rate (24 in the last 7 days) so we may get there even quicker!
Members upgrading their PC's will have a lesser effect as their members will also be upgrading as well.
So no need to be downhearted, as far as I was concerned OcUK were always our main target whether they were 'International' or not.

It looks like around 430 days we will pass them at the current RAC. Thats a pretty long time, but you can imagine the party when we finally do it. Its like taking a trip to mars and finally landing the craft after many years, not that I've done that, so don't know what thats like. what am i on about.....
anyway, we can do it. :D
