Hi Douglas,

What spec PC do you have and which projects are you crunching on?

There are some projects that do take more time and some that are very resource hungry and hence ideally need a fast PC.

Hi Douglas,

I'm successfully running all projects except CPDN on my Celeron 2.6 GHz so it's probably not the CPU itself that's the problem.

How much RAM do you have?

Perhaps you could post a link to your computer on any of the projects so I can see how the benchmarks compare.

Cheers

H Douglas,

OK, I found that you're the member of a lot of projects:

With some info from ABC projects (which links to other project stats:
http://abcathome.com/show_user.php?userid=1937

SAP (viewable)
http://attribution.cpdn.org/hosts_user. ... t=rpc_time
Einstein (viewable)

Nano-Hive (viewable)

that's at least 22 projects....

The Celery seems to be a 2.5GHz with 1.5Gb of RAM....That should be enough for most projects...although on the viewable hosts, you are only using it on Einstein. (You may be using it on other projects, but they are hidden).

I would expect that there must be some reason why it's taking so long....maybe it's because it's trying to crunch on lots of project at the same time???

Might be best to only run it on 2 or 3 projects max.

The Intel 6300 seems to be running OK (on Einstein at least).

Hope this helps,

regards

Tim

PS If you can unhide your hosts on those other projects where the Celery is active and producing results, then we can help a bit more...!

Downloading the free program "Belarc advisor" is very handy in these sorts of situations, as it will give all data about the computer, and enable an experienced person to get a handle on any problem that may have arisen.

Hi and welcome to the team!

Is this you?

http://www.boincstats.com/stats/boinc_u ... &id=889269

I think it is.

Anyway, apart from the results being a bit up and down (probably due to you running so many projects at the same time) it doesn't look so bad. Yesterday was your best ever score!

June seems to be a relatively poor month but July score has all ready nearly exceeded your best ever month of April. Personally apart from, maybe, running too many projects at the same time I don't think you have any probs!

Perhaps you can run down all the projects except Seasonal, Einstein/QMC or/and ABC (your top 4 over the last 7 days)? It might bring about a more consistent output for you.
