When I was working in a hi-fi shop a few years ago, around December/January time, one of our customers (who worked in the TV industry) would bring us a copy of that years "Christmas tape" which were put together by "someone" at the Beeb or one of the ITV companies.


They were mainly jolly outtakes (as now seen on "It'll be Alright on the Night") but there were also a good many "in" jokes as well as many sequences that would NEVER be re-broadcast anywhere.

I wonder where all the shop copies went? Be great to put them on YouTube....serious "embarrassment time" for a good few "celebs"....many of which they would have cause to regret ...

Just goes to show even celebs are human.

Watching some of the clips reminded me of shows from the 70's, so I did a search and found some funny ones with "ooh you are awful, but I do like you" Dick Emery, the outtakes at the end of each show were sometimes funnier than the sketches  :D
