UK BOINC Team Forum

Hi all,

In order to promote the Team a bit more, I think it would be nice if team members personal websites could carry a weblink back to the Team website (especially given that the stats sites and projects sites already allow you to promote your own website via their pages).

And as a "thank you", we'll set up a members interests web page to offer a reciprocal weblink back !.


So, I would suggest the following HTML code as being suitable for inclusion - just cut and paste this to your own website homepage and ping me an email to advise us of your website URL:


The first set of code is preferred:

Team weblink including image:

Or you can include the following as an image only:

Hi John,

I don't really have any issue one way or the other. I would assume that your BOINC page is linked back to your home page (somehow or other) so as the UBT reciprocal link is really to generate click-throughs based on your own personal interests (rather than BOINC - enough of that here already !!), so I think it's down to your own preference.

Am happy to use the link shown either in members profiles on the project website, or any weblink used on the forum. (Obvious exceptions apply...and pls keep it "clean and family friendly" - no porn, no nasty stuff, no X rated...)

Currently, it's hidden here:

From UBT Homepage, click on "Overall Team stats",

then navigate down the left menu to:

"Team Membership by area"

and you'll see "Team members interests".

I grant you it is a bit tricky to find.

But Darren has got some good ideas for a complete refresh on the Team website, so for now, it's there !!

Yeah I saw that link early this mornin, Didn't see my name.
Put a team link on my site the day I joined

I put it on my links menu, if your interested.

No rush Timbo - my site's not finished yet and thers nothin to see but company info until i get the pics uploaded to the Projects pages.
