Not a proper project yet, lots of bugs (as only based on source code, project runs on a Windows server), no work, no decision on what it will do but account creation is open if anyone wishes to make an account

A Russian project or at least it will be when it starts

Did you have any trouble setting up your account? It took me ages to sort out - kept saying i was in afghanistan and part of the russian team, and it still won't let me create a profile!

Yep, quite agree. Kept making me Afghani too, and switching me to Russian team.

Has anyone found a way to adjust the Resource share? I even tried translating the Rusian text but all I got was a small note at top of Project Prefs page saying Under Construction then a copy of Global Prefs.

Just had a poke around. Seems for most projects the 'account' page would be the base address +/home.php so for this one it would be

Had another play around with this this morning. The 'Manager' told me to detach and reattach - so I did.

Actually getting some WUs for the first time! Really short at around 60 seconds.

The ones I got from here (lots of them!) called something like test change case simply took the word test and changed it into TEST and took 50-60 seconds to do it.

Not a lot of science involved in that!

I found a way to get to the page...

Go to your account page

Change the URL to end with...

...users/viewProjectPrefs.aspx - managed to change the resource share to 100.

Global preference is ...viewGlobalPrefs.aspx but it's uneditable at the moment.

Easier alternative, just press Project Pref or Global pref links from your account, don't have to change URL then

I was wondering why you said that as the page is all over the place and various ones can't be selected then I thought...

perhaps you're using IE.

Just tried it in IE and the page layout looks OK and you can indeed select the options from there.

Firefox layout is all pear-shaped but OK in IE - which is a bit of a pain for us Firefox users.

You can say that again! It was really fiddly just to find the right buttons to press to join the UK Boinc Team - but I got there in the end. Can't understand how it is so screwed up in Firefox if it works in IE. Are they really that different? I've never seen such a mess before with Firefox - although have found one or two little things which needed a tweak.

Strange. I just got 10 just to check. I can't remember if there's been a change of URL or not.

You might need to do a detach/attach if that's the case.

Possibly is 'no work left' or very close. Just tried to get some more - same result as you. Server says 210 unsent but they may have all ready gone (time lag - status not always up to date).

Currently no problems with d/l WUs. THey are swamping at least one machine. However result upload seems to be disabled at present. And I've got at least 50 to upload

Nice to see the "slow machine" do some work under 25 minutes

err 1 question though, What is this project about, as I can't find any info on the website, and some of the links were in Russian.

something to do with primes as far as i know :oops:
We need all the help we can get on this project as YKW's doing loads
The credits are tat but theres loads of work units and we are still number 1 UK and 7th in the world .
With a push for the next few days we could gain 6th quite easy .

The credits update at 10 pm :lol:
I have 4 computers on this and will be lucky to get 700 credits :lol:

lol kind of different in Boincview to leave the pootas for a few hours, then have a snoop and see 100 or so results waiting to upload.

Any blobby have a clue what's happened to my #1 project? not been able to access the site in ages and have hundreds of Wu's going no where.

Did do a google but still none the wiser, just wondered if anyone had picked up any gossip while nosing in other forums?

Not sure if it's John's stats Gerasim or something my end, but for days now my total hasn't changed and my previous days credits keep being shown as the current days credit? Strange but true :shock:

Its my stats

Gerasim & WCG don't support the 2 more helpful methods so I have to rely on the ~/stats export directories.
I have a script that checks when these directories were last updated and act accordingly, looks like that check isn't working properly.
I'll have a look
