Like any "leader", and depending on which side you are, you're never going to have "closure" - look at JFK, Che Guevara, Haile Selassie, Gandhi, even Elvis.....! Each has their own "faction" who will defend said leader, despite their passing into history.

(this is quite eye-opening: http://www.parade.com/articles/editions ... /Dictators )

And without trying to trivialise things, the fact is that he (Saddam) did need to take responsibility for his decisions while leader.

So, Saddam can now take his place. Others will no doubt follow.

And hopefully one day, mankind might actually learn something from history....but probably not in my lifetime.

regards and seasons greetings,

Tim

Glad he's DEAD, and hopefully the same to any other divies like him.

Plus the SAS need to sneak pedeofile weirdo kid snatchers away in the night and drown them   and have that as a law
