The Simple GUI is finally out to be BETA tested, I'm just downloading it now

Edit: All installed seems to work OK, think I will stay in advanced mode for now, don't want to be simple

Edit:

Where you can see the B's (BOINC Icons) these will turn into project icons as and when each project does one, you can see from the screenshot above that WCG are the only ones to have a working one at the moment, mainly due to them designing the simple GUI, also there are tabs at the top for the WU's

PrimeGrid & Renderfarm have also now put there logos on QMC should not be far behind. I have had no problems at all with it but then again I'm still running it in the advanced mode for now.

Go to the normal BOINC download page its on there or if you go through the SETI pages goto the download link the click the link for all versions

I've downloaded version 5.7.1 (BOINC Simple GUI) from here but am waiting for someone else to break it first! (Unless curiosity gets the better of me!)

Well that was a bit of a disappointment.

Thought they would have taken the opportunity to revamp the 'advanced' version a bit. Think I'll keep it looking as it was.

I know it's to give new users an easier entry so perhaps I'm not the best person to criticise it!
