20th June: Website now working again! - and after 21 years UBT is still here and we continue to crunch :-) (PS: I still have no idea where the UBT logo went !)
I'm back
Been chaotic for the last few days, working from 8:00am to 9:30pm since last weekend , although when it's your own business can never really complain . We have a quieter day today before it all kicks off again later - and upgrades 'chaotic' to 'absolutely chaotic'!! That's the coming weekend taken over again.

I'll try not to do that!
Our house smells a bit like a florist - we've just taken on a contract to make up packs of scented artisan soaps, with names such as Moroccan Roll, Rhubarb Rhubarb ..... you can make up your own names here . Soap bars are all over the place!

Sounds very .... artistic
Moroccan Roll, rhubarb rhubarb? I'm feeling hungry again and I've already had lunch!
Target: News
Goon Gown
I can send you a pack! We've also got Tea & Rose and Coffee & Walnut if you're in need of a drink. Pity there's no Strawberry & Cream or Apple & Custard for dessert - but give them time!

Really? Well it will soon be Mothers day, I could save a few bob
Are you sure these are soaps and not some cordon bleu snack? I remember the days when the choice of soaps was 'coal tar' or 'poncy'

It's been a tough week down on the Costa del Sol. The sun kept shining and the drink kept flowing but we coped somehow.
Welcome back Jeff, glad you had a good time
Don't you just hate it when that happens? No? Only me then? Sadly you've missed a lot of frost, ice and rain while you were away .... but I think you'll still have a chance to catch some now you're back
Jeffers wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 9:51 amNew target: Snow (seems that's what we've got to look forward to....)
We've had a smattering this morning, already!
All clear so far, ours is expected this afternoon. about the only advantage to being in the south that I can think of.
Target: Snow
Dots Tons (back to the snow )
I wouldn't be counting any chickens this time around. I watched the late forecast last night and they seem to think the further south you are the worse it will be! Scotland could even escape it all this time around.

Had a few flakes blowing about, looks worse further east/south, but it's bloody parky in that wind!
Looks like this side of Yorkshire could be one of the best places to avoid the snow, although I did hear the forecast on Look North at lunchtime and she said they'd no avoiding it later in the week!

Oh no, I like the snow. Had a couple of flurries now but it hasn't laid

Looks like it's heading your way then, tomorrow and Wednesday are meant to be our worst days.

The same forecaster also said that the weekend is not looking good for most of Yorkshire. But by her accent she's a Leeds lass, so she'll no doubt have more forecasts up her sleeve every day
hgblade wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2018 4:04 pmWe woke up this morning to a covering on the road and the garden but it didn't change around. But - it's now snowing harder than at any time since.
Sounds like you might be snowed in then, luckily you have the combined wit of Jeff and myself to keep you entertained

That's exactly what you need, a fluid, up to date assessment

And I just can't wait to see it materialise

A drunk presenter? - could be just as good as some of the forecasts we've had of late!
Same here - hardly stopped since about 7:30 last night. Got to walk to the shop shortly, and it's a blizzard at the moment. Not stopping our border collie, though. He's crackers and would be out all day in it if he got the chance!
