Hello
Greetings from a lone BOINCer. After several years of running a one man band team and gathering 500k of credits I've decided to come and join you.
I have run most projects at one time or another but my favourites are the physics and space ones.
With new projects like Cosmology, MilkyWay, Orbit and if it ever gets going PlanetQuest I'm getting more committed to BOINC.
Glad to be on the team

Hi
I was wondering why I had dropped another place on our statsand was pleased to see you! I'm not bothered about dropping places for the right reason. It's a pity you can't actually bring all your credits with you - just the climate ones.
Anyway, a warm welcome to the team - you won't be lonely here that's for sure!
Mike

PS
I've not heard of a Boinc project called MilkyWay, what's that then?

Thanks for the Welcome
What a quick response!
Yea, shame about all my past credits but I'll keep on crunchin'.
MilkyWay@Home is an emerging new project.
From their website:
Milkyway@home is a research project that uses Internet-connected computers to do reserach in modeling and determining the evolution of the Milkyway galaxy. You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer
A search on google will find it, although the apps are only Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD at the moment. Account creation is open.
Regards to all

MilkyWay test
I ran a couple of test WU's for them yesterday, but it's early days yet.
On the subject of new projects, I have 100 Sudoku test Wu's today as well!!

Hi Richard,
I like to try out all the new BOINC projects as they start up and get at least a 1000 credits for each. Missed out on BRaTS & Hydrogen though.
Glad to see you set the team up for Sudoku. I've got a few that don't appear properly on my signature yet, but that's the price you pay for being ahead of the game.

Hi and thanks
I have just managed to register and I would like to thank the team members who posted congrats for passing the 1 million boincs.
Now past 100,000 on the second. It drives my wife nuts and my other boss June is very enthusiastic, bless her.
Thanks again
