What is the GPUGRID Role account? Is that a single person or team effort?

This is/was not a "team" account, set up to generate lots of credits from multiple/consolidated host machines (using the weak CPUID for instance).
It is actually an account set up by some unknown person (or entity), that seems to be associated with the "GPUGrid project team" ...and they generated a huge number of credits for a short time and then they stopped/vanished, and the account does not appear to have been active ever since.
Their profile has a link to a company called Accelera's website, based in UK and Spain:

and they were very active on the GPUGrid message board - but their last post (signed by "Matt" was on 21st March 2015):
