UK BOINC Alliance / Alliance of UK BOINC Teams / GB BOINC Alliance ?

I'd be interested to hear from any UK-based "BOINC team leaders", with regards to generating editorial interest through the publishing and internet media, so as to help promote BOINC within the UK.

It strikes me that as an individual, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to generate ANY media coverage.

But as a GROUP, with common aims and by sharing resources, we could really put BOINC on the map in the UK and generate a lot more public interest in each of the various projects as a result.

As such, I've created a private forum, open by invitation only to UK team leaders and BOINC project administrators, which initially can act as a forum where ideas could be discussed and actions planned, so as to not duplicate what limited resources we have available.

If you're a UK Team leader or a BOINC project admin, ping me an email, and I'll gladly provide you with access to the forum.

On a global basis:
Dr Anderson has now created a BOINC Wiki, available here, so that individuals can report back to the BOINC Director with reports on whether they have been able to generate any interest.
Likewise, any failures or "brick walls" can also be reported...!
