Hi

Quite like that but I got the idea that it reminded me of something...

Image

bit like that but not quite which is unfortunate.

Just tried to find out when we last had the banner updated, the best I could find was around 2006! Timbo will know but I didn't think it was that far back.
If it was 16 years ago - a case of what!? I remember the discussion about the various little tweeks like it was - well not that far back!

Going to sulk now cos you made me feel old now and just before Christmas as well!

Hi Chris

Thanks for your effort on this.

Like Mikee, I see a resemblance to a few other "logos" used by various organisations and companies...and while it is very "clean", I do think it doesn't convey as much "information" as the existing logo, by way of:

1) showing our forum URL
2) showing that we are an International team with members from around the world (and not just the UK)
3) including the easily recognised BOINC logo
4) the emphasis on the words "UK" and "Team" - which are important (IMHO)

However, if members want to voice an opinion on this, please let me know your thoughts/preferences here and if the majority want to change the logo used, then I'll do so.

regards and Merry Xmas
Tim

I made it years ago but just found it (at Adobe Spark) so thought I would post it.

I didn't post it when you guys came up with the previous banner, as everyone seemed happy with it.

In truth there was very little effort on my part as it just took a few minutes to create.

Use it, don't use it - its all good.
