SETI@home "clearout"

Hi all
I just logged into the SETI@home website and wondered if anyone was still posting on their message boards...and they are !!
But I came across this post (from March 2022) which is a bit sad, as it shows the various servers being sent "down to the (Berkeley) university's Excess and Salvage department":
https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_t ... 76#2096776
No doubt various parts have been scrapped or re-used in various other departments...but the end of an era for distributed computing enthusiasts/hobbyists.
regards
Tim
