UBT hits 250 BEEEEEEEEEEEEELION!!

Post by UBT - Chris »

Congrats, team - it seems like we hit 250 billion a few days ago!! :occasion5:

However, TSBT are now threatening our Best in UK Title - their RAC is 400 million higher than ours, and they are only 2 billion behind us - we need as many credits as possible to keep them off us!!

Hi, Rick - nor did I until I checked! But now got all of my devices pumping on full blast too :D (I found that a quite good project for credits is SRBase - for the short tasks, you get 6 credits per one and they only take 5 - 10 mins - not the best, but good enough :D)

Well spotted Chris,

According to Boincstats, we had 248,795,520,357 on the 16th and 250,592,513,733 on the 17th of February.

Since I wasn't watching for the exact moment, I'm claiming a victory here - http://forum.ukboincteam.com/viewtopic.php?t=5608 :D

That's fine, Mark - congrats on your victory :D

Found another way to earn more credits - it's an android emulater for laptop/pc - bluestacks, (download here: http://www.bluestacks.com/), and it has "given" my 4 core laptop an extra processor, so I can now run 5 cpu intensive tasks, and I'm running 2 wu-props on one device - the only cpu intensive project it's letting me run, however is Collatz conjecture, but either way - it's more credits! I highly recommend it - it's amazing! :D
