For various reasons I'd stopped having my PC up 24/7, but I'm going to resume full-time crunching again.
The way I see it, any extra energy I'm using on the PC come out as heat which, at this time of year, means the central heating doesn't have to work quite as hard. The effect may be negligible but it gives me some justification for the extra electricity I'm using.
So, with assistance from Primegrid and DistRTgen (1 million credits in under 3 weeks!), the RAC is climbing nicely. Now it's a big push for a place in the team top twenty!
Back to 24/7 crunching.

Welcome back to crunching Jeffers - I'm in the same camp - had stopped for a while, but now I'm back doing my bit...Jeffers wrote:For various reasons I'd stopped having my PC up 24/7, but I'm going to resume full-time crunching again.
