Hi All,

Thought i would put a quick post up to say that i have just joined as a member.

I heard of bionc as a result of the LHC@home coverage in the news and it really appealed to me.  LHC@home is not running at the moment i think so i have added the Einstein@home project.

Its running as we speak, my laptop is whining away and the keyboard is taking on a lovely warm glow.

I have looked at my account and i notice there is something called Credits and Average Credit, can anyone explain what this is?

Nice to meet you all and if anyone has any suggestions on fun things to get involved with then i am more than open to hear them.

Each work unit you complete for Einstein (or any boinc project) gets awarded some credits. They're not worth anything, just a fun way of keeping track of how much work you've done.
Average Credit is just that, the average of your credit over a given period (with some fancy maths thrown in), so if you've built up a healthy average and you stop crunching, your average credit will drop. Easy really :D
