Got my first overall million

Wow, that was a long time coming, but finally over that first million barrier.

I'm hoping the second million won't take as long, especially with my nice shiny new graphics card and CPU

Congratulations, you'll find that the second (and future!) millions seem to turn up a lot quicker!

I can't wait for my first project million either.

I'm hopefully going to be doing some over clocking and stability tests of my new hardware, so that should bump up my total a bit too.

Thanks for all the replies, its great to hear from you all.

I managed my largest ever points total in a day (well 10 hours or so) 136,000, whilst I was working on the machine and stability testing the new setup.

I've already jumped to 1.3 mill, so 2 mill shouldn't be that long off.

At stock speeds my new rig does approx 13,000 per hour.

It took me over 5 years to get to 10 million! The rate you're going it'll only take you a few months! Well done!

I won't get to 10 mil anytime soon because I don't have my main rig on all the time. Usually, at the most is on for maybe 20 hours a week, so although when its running it crunches its way through work units at a fair rate of knots, it's not on all that often, so it's balanced out. If I end the year with around 5 mil overall projects i'll be more than happy.

I'm half tempted to have a look at replacing my ati 4850x2 with the 5000/6000 series.
