Nvidia Fermi

Well it's about time! I think it has been released as of March 26, 2010 (slipped by without me noticing...)
According to Engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/22/nvid ... ng-march-2

Looks like the prices start from around £310 and upwards on the dabs website, could be cheaper elsewhere but it's just a quick reference.

Question is... Are they worth the money? Are they any better then the new ATI series GPU's, and if so how much better?

If anyone has one please let us know!  :D

I have never, and have no intention of ever paying out anymore than £150 for a g card... .

£310 is madness    :D

Unless of course, it can outrun my trusty ol' 9800gtx+ by 100% ?

According to the only spec I found comparing them, the 480 has a 5 - 10% overall advantage over a 5870.

That's for a card probably going to be costing nearly twice as much and also with more memory. Doesn't seem worth it to me.
