Hi, I've been using BOINC for years but I rarely pay attention to it, I just let it do its thing. I've noticed that I haven't got any credit in the last 30 days (according to BOINCStats). I opened up the BOINC program and all it's working on is a SETI@Home unit that will take another 433 hours to process. My computer won't be on 433 hours between now and the deadline so is that likely to be the problem - that my old PC isn't able to finish SETI and EINSTEIN workunits in time anymore?
The specs of my PC are:
AMD Athlon XP 1800+ CPU
479 MB RAM
Linux OS
I seem to have stopped getting credit

Hi Gary.
I think your problems with Seti@Home is that you appear to have downloaded an Astropulse WU.
These are very long, and with a slow machine, you may well run out of time.
On "My Account" page of seti, click "Seti@Home preferences".
Then, look for "Run only the selected applications".
Then set it to: Seti enhanced - Yes
Astropulse - No
Astropulse V5 - No
Don`t forget to abort your unwanted WUs.
Rick.
