WCG Badges

For anyone who is not aware, WCG have changed the way the project badges are awarded.

The following details are taken from the forum announcement:

"A badge is awarded to a member based upon how much computer processing time they have contributed to the project.

There are 3 levels of badges: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, which are denoted by a different background color for the badge.

For most projects, the minimum CPU Run Time contribution for a Bronze badge is 14 days; for Silver it is 45 days; for Gold it is 90 days.

No badge will appear until members contribute at least 14 days of CPU Run Time.

World Community Grid may occasionally change these rules for certain projects such as was done for the AfricanClimate@Home project, which required only 1 day worth of CPU Run Time for a Bronze badge, 7 days for a Silver badge, and 30 days for a Gold badge."

I went on the WCG forums to ask if they are planning to make it possible to display project badges as a single sig on forums.

The reply was that they were going to do it "soon", though one of their advisers said that at WCG, soon means eventually.  :?

I cheated, copied them into one image on paint then uploaded to photobucket but it would need to be updated everytime a new badge or rank was obtained.

It depends on your sigs. there is a maximum of 250 characters. I only managed 1 WCG badge before mine was full.

It doesn`t seem to work. I just got a string of code on my sig.

Edit: TinyURL converted the badge image URL to the entire My Grid page.
