Sign the PM petition against fuel duty rises

Post by UBT - Timbo »

Hi all,

Fancy signing this petition to stop the UK Govt. from implementing further increases in duty on petrol and diesel....

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Lowerduty30/

If no-one stands up and fights this, then the Govt will just do what it likes - screwing the public and business, whilst voting themselves a substantial "expenses allowance" (which they don't need to provide receipts for)...we could end up paying for politicians greed....

So, it's time to make a stand against politicians greed....

regards

Tim

I think they`ll do what they want regardless  Tim, as they seem to be on borrowed time now, but I`ll sign up.
Edit: done.

Can't really see them passing up an opportunity to squeeze the pockets of the poor motorist a bit more, but I've signed up anyway.

Hi all,

When I posted the first message in the thread, the number of signatures on the PM website was around 90,000.

Just one day later and thanks to all of you who have signed (as well as many others) the petition is now up to 111,292....

That's a further 20,000 in just ONE day.

So, here's hoping this petition goes ballistic.....and let's aim for at least 250,000

Tell all your friends and get them on to it....

regards and thanks,

Tim

But is that all you have done? Email your MP, I complain to mine all the time, he loves it, well he always reply's!!

Although a bit of praise every now and then helps.

He and a group of fellow MP's have put forward a new idea for fuel tax.
