Hi
Hi
Joined UBT about 8 days ago on Traveling Salesman Problem, after I got fed up with SETI@home's behaviour.
Don't ask about Einstien as I got no idea where that one came from...
So I thought I would finaly register and say hello (after much lurking )
So err... Hello :D

Thanks for the welcome peeps
I just hope things don't go as weird during my crunching on TSP as they did with SETI@home.
For starters when I started with SETI@home, I looked at the UK teams and I did decide to join UBT.
So I bookmarked the Team Stats on the seti site, then clicked on Join team.
Next day I checked to see how I was doing (as newbie peeps do), and was puzzled as to why I could not find my name, I thought perhaps it takes a bit longer before you show up so I waited another day, and again nothing, on the 3rd day and still no me, I was realy puzzled at this point.
So I looked at Boinc, and finaly decided to play about with the buttons.
It was when I clicked on advanced view, that I seen the reason why I was not on UBT, for some reason I had ended up on SETI.UK, that one puzzled me as I had not even looked at that team, and I know I had clicked on the join team button on UBT as I had bookmarked the team page.
Then as if by magic I suddenly got 1 result credited to me from einstien.
A project I had never signed up for, yet I have an account there, it says one of my computers (AMD64 X2 6000+) done the work, and took over 8 hours to do it.
However acording to boincview the longest workunit I have done belongs to SETI@home and that took just over 7 hours (1.5Ghz Intel Celeron(m))
I started SETI on 20th OCT, quit on the 8 DEC & started TSP on same day.
That's the only 2 projects I have worked on.
So do weird things happen in 3's also?
If so I want the next thing to be my RAC to jump x4
