Anything "BOINC" specific can be commented on here...such as Project news and announcements etc. Also: any problems with BOINC or maybe you have found something interesting, tell us about it. Chat about the various 3rd party client applications used for some of the projects such as optimised clients.

My prime 'BOINC' PC died the death recently, and as I have just returned from the deep south have not even begun to address repair.

Just to let you all know.

Mine switched itself off earlier this evening and would not restart, I took the side off and see the cpu fan hanging there the nobbly bit on the bracket had some how broken off.

I'm reduced to a laptop.

Where in the "deep south" was you ?
